Photo: Urban Art In Malaysia

Graffiti art adorns the concrete floodwall along the Klang River, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

You look at intricate graffiti in the first world, and one assumes that is uniquely a Western phenomenon. Upon traveling through the vibrant urban environments in Asia however, you quickly learn that street art is a global means of artistic expression, not solely limited to cultures back home.

Amazing stuff!

  1. We’ve been finding incredible art throughout our travels in Asia!!! We’re heading to KL in October so I’ll make sure to keep my eyes peeled there. Very cool.

    • This piece is along the concrete flood barriers near the KL skytrain in Chinatown … happy hunting!
