In Motion: Pano View Of Railay Beach, Thailand

After visiting the gorgeous (but way overcrowded) beaches of Koh Phi Phi Le, I managed to convince my travel mates to visit the region’s other major surf and sand destination, Railay Beach. Situated at the end of a peninsula sealed off by limestone karsts, Railay is a world away from the crowded islands we left behind a day before.

Along with Penang’s Monkey Beach, it is a strip of sand and palms that my mind drifts to whenever the Canadian Rockies fails to deliver a satisfactory “summer” day (which has been all too often lately!)…
