Deleted Scenes: Thai School Children Celebrate 2011 In Two Adorable Videos … Check It Out!

While I was, for all intents and purposes, en route to Singapore, I still had a few days to while away in Bangkok, placed on purpose to unwind before jumping borders once more. During a mandatory stroll down Khao San Road, before going into a studio to get visa photos taken, I heard a sound that begged me to come closer, a very sweet, alluring sound.

As it turned out, it was the sound of singing and dancing children, putting on a concert for parents on the first school day of the new year (in the Roman Calendar that is; Thailand is a Buddhist country, and thus, officially follows the Buddhist calendar, making the year 2553, and 2554 was to dawn a few months on, in April)

I have not just one, but two videos below for your viewing pleasure. Let these charming kids win you over, as they did with me! Children are truly the same everywhere…
