Yours Truly next to an elephant … the resemblance is striking!
The Pursuit of Excitement is a blog that promotes the notion of designing your life around the things that quicken your pulse, make you sit up straight in your chair when you read about them, and make you bound out of bed in the morning revved up to do said activities. I aim to encourage people to break through the obstacles that many folks erect between themselves and their passions, thereby making it easier to live the life that they’ve dreamt of leading. And if that isn’t enough, I dangle photos, videos, and intoxicating travel/adventure narratives like a carrot in front of a donkey, leading towards the life that *you* want to lead. Please feel free to comment on any thread at anytime folks, so we can share in the triumphs and pitfalls on the road of success, together!
About the Blogger: James, a tour guide/aspiring digital nomad, has just made a life-altering decision to pursue his dreams, leaving Canada for indeterminate amount of time to seek out guiding opportunities in SE Asia (or elsewhere). Having escaped a career that he fell into out of college, James is pursuing the aspects of life he once thought of as escapes from reality, aiming to make them reality.
Current aim (as of December 2011): Seek out a guiding job in Thailand, and then begin building the foundations of the entrepreneurial life that I am destined to lead!

James, I would love to have you write your story of revolutionary, deeply transformative personal change for my magazine, Rethinking Everything. I think our readers would love to know more about you.
Say yes?

No problem, you have a well-written blog, and enjoy receiving e-mail notifications about your new posts! I am in SE Asia right now, on Mindoro Island in the Philippines (3 hours south of Manila), chilled out place visited more by pinoys than by foreigners!
Thanks for following my humble l’il weblog, cheers!
James
